The articulated tandem tail is a combo of tan brown and white bucktail,white schlappen,White microbarb saddles and black goat hair.
I followed the same tying recipe for the front hook except I added a 4" inch section of silver mylar tubing which I unravelled around the whole body of the the fly. Added a large tan brown spun deerhair head then epoxied a foam plate over that for bouyancy. Jobs a good en!! Total length 14" inches.

Really nice ties, I like the foam on the head too.
I've fished with a couple of these foam headed flies recently and although surface lures aren't productive here around the island they shore do push a lot of water.
