New blood

A few weeks back I gave a talk on the subject of pike on the fly & its popularity in the northern hemisphere, as well as run a pike fly tying evening to the Ostrobothnian fishing guides course which went down a storm. Anyway Tuesday afternoon we gathered again to go through the aspects of what we'd learned into practice and spent the evening wading the shallows chucking large wads of fluff at mike. Several pike were caught, mainly jacks but Mika managed this 5,2kg (100cm).

4 hrs of wading in water that was around 2'c temp literally froze my bollocks to peanut shaped rattles.
