I tied up this double bunny gurglebug tube last night for a bit of fun. It has a mono loop at the back to prevent the bunny strips from wrapping around the hook but I think I need to go back to the drawing boards with this one though.
The strips are to long and the loop could have done with being further back.Maybe directly under the head instead of being behind it. Still we live and learn....wont stop me though from going and chucking it this afternoon to see how it performs.
Interesting, I use this pattern in a smilar style for a buzz frog. Bass, and pike love it. Is this guggle bug a floater, suspender? Do you make the molted pattern on the foam by hand? Will you share how it looked in the water?

Hi Ben,It's a floater but fished with a sink tip 2 or intermediated line or shooting head like I use, it gets pulled under the surface and can be fished at varying depths depending on how deep your line is.The pattern is marked onmyself with a black permenant marker and I'll try and get some images of it in the water next time I'm out.
