Yes and no Robin.The sea is iced over still but melting fast.will be giving it a full thrust in the next few weeks though.
I did take it to the Swedish & Helsinki fly fairs and chucked some large wads in the casting arena. It cast normal line rather well but once I attached my shooting head it battled to punch it out. at 139 grams compared to other pike rods at around 160 - 170 grams its a tad bit light.I Like to get a pike in as quickly as I can once its hooked and I think I'd struggle with an 8 kilo fish on the line. Still early days yet and I'll do a proper review not like some of the others I have read regarding it.
