I've been tying up some more of Mikael Grondahl's baitfish patterns this last week. I just plain call them "Bluedunn baitfish" purely because his blog is called "Bludun flies" I use slightly different materials (Electric Yellow & Chartreuse slinky fiber) to him purely because I don't have what he uses on his own creations and I've not bothered with a shaped head which he also does.Instead I've gone for large 15 mm rattle eyes bugbonded together to give a little more weight to the front of the fly. I have used pearl tinsel and some yellow/lime green fluoro strands to fill out the body & also used a little more white bucktail for its flanks than I normally would.
